* ID is required for student rates – You need to send a copy of your current student ID and any additional documentation that confirms your type of student status (UG, MSc, MRes or PhD) to membership@biomedeng.org after you submit your application form.

After your membership has been approved, you will receive an email from info@biomedeng.org with your login details for accessing the members area and completing your registration by paying your dues. Do check your junk folder as well.

Your personal information will only be held and processed for this purpose. It will not be shared with third parties, with the exception of providing the organisers of the annual BioMedEng conference with your name and membership type in order to be able to provide you with discounted conference registration fees. Your personal information will be held during an active membership subscription, and for up to three years after the expiry of your last active subscription. Afterwards it will be automatically deleted. You have the right to withdraw your consent and/or request access to, rectify, restrict and erase your personal information held by BioMedEng any time free of charge. You can do so by contacting the BioMedEng's membership secretary or web manager. All requests will be dealt with within 1 month. If you feel that your personal information is stored or processed unlawfully, you have the right to raise a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office.
