Arrival by car
wansea Arena is easily accessible by car via the M4.
- Use Junction 47 if you are heading from the West (Carmarthen)
- Use Junction 42 if you are coming from the East (London/Cardiff)
There are several car parks located within close proximity of the Arena, including two brand-new purpose-built car parks located either side of the Oystermouth Road.
Copr Bay South (adjacent to the Arena), features 35 disabled spaces, while all other city centre car parks have Blue Badge parking spaces available.
Arrival by train
Swansea Arena is a 10-minute walk or 6-minute drive from Swansea Train Station.
Swansea is well served by high-speed Great Western Railway trains from London and frequent Transport for Wales trains run from West Wales, the Marches, the Midlands and the South-West.

Accessibility
With step free walkways leading to our front entrance, and all areas inside the venue served by two lifts, Swansea Arena is fully accessible to all. There is level access throughout the Arena.
A brand-new sloping walkway leads directly from the city centre across the new Copr Bay Bridge to the front entrance of the Arena. Further to this, a sloping walkway has been added from Oystermouth Road leading through the Coastal Park. A staircase and lift are located in the adjacent car park to provide easy access to the main entrance level. For more information on accessibility of the venue click here. Poster infromation
- Please make sure your poster is A0 portrait (841mm X 1189mm).
- Tip: if you include a picture of yourself on the poster then people will be able to find you more easily, even outside poster sessions.
- Print out your posters and bring them with you on the day.
- Check the poster programme to identify which time and day you will be presenting.
- You will find your name on one of the poster boards, Also an electronic floor plan will be uploaded indicating where you should put your poster up.
- Each presenter needs to put up their own poster. This should be done early on the day of presenting.
- Poster boards and Velcro are available at the venue.
Oral presentation information
- Presentations have to be uploaded onto the system in room 1 at least 30 minutes before the session starts. Please also have a copy on your own USB in the meeting room, in case of problems.
- The presentations will last for 12 minutes, with 2 minutes for questions. This leaves 1 minute for changing of speakers. Our schedule is tight, so please adhere to this timing.
- Chairs and Co-Chairs will be available at all sessions and are mentioned in the programme. Please introduce yourself to the chair 5-10 minutes before the start of the session.
- Presentation times will be adhered to, in the event of a speaker not being available to give their presentation, the session will pause until the next presentation slot. This will allow participants to swap between sessions.
